They are the ones with whom you make a treaty and who break their covenants each time without any regard.
Tafsir
The Word of Allah (swt) is for all times and for those who will come until the Day of Resurrection. This is because human beings are similar to each other in their belief or disbelief in Allah. In this respect, even though it is addressed to the people of the time of the Prophet (PBUH), it is for a better understanding of the Verses that Allah (swt) creates events and sends His Verses to people.
This verse shows that the disbelievers will not honor their covenants. Because the disbelievers have selfishness and egoism, they want to bring everyone under their will and live off their backs, and they want people to do what they say. People with this understanding do not recognize treaties.
Throughout history, unbelievers have not honored treaties. Nor will they do so until the Day of Resurrection. When disbelievers honor treaties, if the treaty is in their favor, they maintain the treaty. But if the treaty is against them, they will never honor the treaty. If the people with whom they have made a treaty are as strong as a mallet on their heads, they will appear to honor the treaty. But if they see a modicum of power in themselves, they will immediately break the treaty and try to bring others under their will. Or they will try to weaken you, and when they find strength, they will break the treaty and attack the other person. Or when the state with which they have made a treaty is at war with another state, they join forces with the enemy of the state with which they have made a treaty and break the treaty. The disbelievers never listen to treaties that are against them, nor do they honor them.
At the time of the Prophet (pbuh), the Jews of Quraiza, a Jewish tribe, broke the treaty and helped the enemies of Islam against the Prophet (pbuh). There is no difference between the understanding of Allah and His Messenger by the non-Muslims of that time and the understanding of Allah and His Messenger by the non-Muslims of this time. Because they are similar to each other. They do not believe. Therefore, even if they do not abide by this covenant, Allah (swt) says that the people who will come until the Day of Judgment will have the same understanding and there will be no change in their attitude and understanding, and Allah (swt) says to always be vigilant against enemies and strong in equipment.
What is said in the video
Let's bring it to an end.
Surah Al-Anfal, verse 56: They are those with whom you made a treaty and who then, every time, without any hesitation, break their pledge, such people.
What does this verse, which verse does it (?)?
Which verse does it support? The verses support one another anyway. With the verse in which He says their hearts are restless and scattered, He says they are lying disbelievers. Lying disbelievers. How beautiful. Allah Almighty, having written people's pledge, their aim, as their destiny, knows what they will do, and informs us. Yes. They are those with whom you made a treaty and who then, every time, without hesitation, break their pledges, such people. Pay attention! Non-Muslims: when a treaty is made, if they are in need of you, even though you make your treaty with justice, with justice, as soon as he gains a little strength, he immediately turns the treaty upside down.
Even if he gains a little strength, if he still needs you, he ensures the treaty's validity. Because it is fair. If he gets a little stronger, so that his position rises above yours, or if he comes to a point where he would split off, or comes to a point where he would rule over you, he doesn't recognize you.
Allah Almighty warns us with this verse.
They are those with whom you made a treaty and who then, every time, without hesitation, their pledges break; without hesitation, it says. Those who break their pledges.
May Allah be pleased with (?). Allah Almighty's word covers all times, those to come until the Day of Judgment. For people resemble one another in believing or not believing in Allah. Where? Back in the realm of Lahut, when He said "Am I not your Lord?", elestü bi rabbiküm, people being divided into three. Ve kuntüm ezvâcen selâseh. Fe ashâbu'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbu'l-meymeneh. (?) O you of the right, glad tidings to you. Ve ashâbu'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbu'l-meş'emeh. O you of the left, woe to you, He says. Ve's-sâbikûne's-sâbikûn. Ülâike'l-mukarrabûn. Fî cennâti'n-naîm. A third group, the group of the foremost.
They were separated there. People of the same mentality are always of the same opinion anyway. Based on what? Although, it says, little time had passed since that destruction, how they came to resemble one another, it says. Yes. Resembling one another. Our words are always the counterpart of the verses.
For people resemble one another in believing or not believing in Allah. In this respect, although people were addressed in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), for the verses to be understood better, Allah Almighty's sending His verses by creating events for people is so that the verses may be understood better. This verse shows that the disbelievers will not abide by treaties. Since the disbelievers have ego and the desire of the nafs, the desire of the nafs, these want to bring everyone under their own will and live off their backs. That people do what they say; people with this mentality do not recognize treaties. Under your yoke, under your command, they don't come.
Then what do they do? They want it always to be as they say. In this case, (?) that we see today, which every eye sees and the mind grasps, when we look at the disbelievers' way of life, they don't even have children. The reason: because under their laws they cannot have authority over their children. The laws are like that. Those children will live above them. They know no manners or decency. Little children, still at school desks, are in the state of women. For them, virginity is a sin. It's shameful. If she has no boyfriend, they shame her for it. They have this mentality. Well, in this case a person, the mother and father, since they cannot have authority over those children, cannot rule them, they don't even have children. Because their pride is broken.
But they get dogs, very nicely. Dogs. The reason: they give orders to the dog. When they make the dog do what they say, a desire comes to their nafs. That I made it do what I said. They enjoy it. And how beautifully Allah Almighty lays out their state for us like this, in this time of ours, before seeing eyes, like an exhibition. Yes.
This verse, that the disbelievers will not abide by treaties, it shows. Since the disbelievers have ego and the desire of the nafs, they want to bring everyone under their own will and live off their backs. That people do what they say. With this mentality, those people do not recognize treaties. I was in Germany. In (?), one of our children picked me up. Let's eat some trout, he said. He took me to a stream. A stream. A summer resort. On the other side of the stream, a woman and a man. They have dogs. They've let their dogs loose. They're giving them orders. It caught my attention. Now, a wolfhound. The woman said: come here.
The dog went like lightning to the other side. Come here, she said, in a strange manner like this. The dog went like lightning again, like this. The woman is going crazy like this. Come here, she said. It came. When the dog stands before her, she does this. Look at the nafs, the nafs. I saw the nafs with these eyes, I mean. Look at this nafs. Allah Allah. That's why my Lord raised me by training me on such people. We have seen many things. We see these as the counterpart of the verses. Yes. Throughout history, disbelievers have not abided by treaties. Nor will they until the Day of Judgment. As for disbelievers abiding by treaties: if the treaties are in their favor, they keep the treaty going.
If the treaty is against them, they never abide by the treaty. If the people they made the treaty with are strong over them like a mallet, they appear to abide by the treaty. If they see even a bit of strength in themselves, they immediately break the treaty and try to bring those opposite under their own will. Or he tries to weaken you, and when he finds some strength, he immediately breaks the treaty and attacks the person opposite.
Or, while the state they made the treaty with is at war with another state, with the enemy of the state they made the treaty with they unite and break the treaty. So disbelievers never heed treaties that are against them, and do not abide by treaties.
The revelation of this verse: in the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Jews of Qurayza, a Jewish tribe, break the treaty. Against the Prophet (peace be upon him) they give help to the enemies of Islam. Between the understanding of Allah and His Messenger of the people of that time and that of the people of this time, there is no difference at all. Because these resemble one another. They do not believe. So their not abiding by this treaty too: that the people to come until the Day of Judgment are of the same mindset, that there will be no change in their attitude or in their understanding; Allah Almighty always, to be alert against enemies and strong in arms and equipment, commands the Muslims.
