Translation

If they approach peace, you should also approach it and trust in Allah; Allah is Samee (All-Hearing) and Aleem (All-Knowing).

Tafsir

And if the non-Muslims ask for peace, whether they are at war or not, then make peace with them. Because there may be some among them who will become Muslims in the future, perhaps from themselves, perhaps from their children. Allah knows this and we do not know the unseen. So sit in peace with them.

Moreover, it is not possible for any human being to kill any human being without a reason, in order to keep himself as a witness to the covenant he made with Allah (swt) while completing his life in the realm of property. No one can kill anyone except either in time of war, when he is killed in battle, or when he commits a crime and is found guilty of it, and is killed by the laws of the state. That is why Allah says, "Give peace to those who ask you for peace. If they ask for peace, do not go against them. He says, "And you, too, make peace.

Put your trust in Allah in all things and in all ways. Seek help from Allah. For Allah is All-Hearing and All-Knowing. Allah does not leave His servants who say Allah alone.

What is said in the video

If they incline toward peace, incline toward it too — look how beautifully He says it. Now the verse (?) mentioned is also coming. If they incline toward peace, you incline too. What is peace? A treaty. Peace. And let him put his trust in Allah, for He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing, He says. When He says here "put your trust in Allah": never, using your superiority, your power, treat them unjustly. Do not, with crushing words, (?) them, do not denigrate them. Always act with justice, He says. What does He say? For He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. Yes, if, saying "I am a prophet, I am a scholar, I am one my Lord has raised," you treat people on earth unjustly, unjustly,

surely it offends Allah Almighty. He hears and knows. You will have spoiled justice on earth. Now you might ask me a question like this. "Hodja, you insult these people by calling them the superstitious." I do say it.

Even though they live Islam as Muslims, whoever teaches a person something superstitious, and until that person does that superstition, until those he taught do it too, until this superstition comes to an end, sin goes to the one who taught that superstition. We warn them about these things. We say: friend, interpreting these verses is not your right. Not your right, it is not your right. If it were your right, in the words you speak, in your fine words that confirm one another in keeping with the verses you interpret, in your statements that do not contradict the verses, it would be clear that you are a master of this.

What does Mevlana say? Tell me a word, and I will tell you where you stand, he says. Yes. In this case, in the translations written so far, in the translations written so far, as copies of each other, without attaining the truth of this knowledge, they have ascribed attributes to Allah.

Someone gets up and says, this is an advertisement for us, he says. And it is a big risk, he says. Risk. That poor man does not think of this. So many scholars have written this so far. And this man, without any hesitation, has stood up in this world before these Muslims and (?). These are wrong, he shouts at the top of his voice, he says. And if someone cannot come forward and say, "Come on, which verse is wrong, blessed one? Show me what is wrong in this verse,"

if in this way you have no proof in your hand either, in which statement do you say he is advertising?

And being in power, you say this without shame. Read it once. Read Allah's word once. Allah has given you a fine mind; with your mind you are able to find the crooked and the straight. Don't talk from fancy. Rather than regretting it later, say nothing. You are a human, created honorable. Don't debase yourself.

Yes.

Am I saying something wrong? If they incline toward peace, incline toward it too, and put your trust in Allah. In Allah — (?) Rely on your Lord, trust your Lord. For He is the All-Hearing and the All-Knowing. If non-Muslim communities, while waging war, (?) want peace, incline toward peace too. Because among them, in the future, perhaps from themselves, perhaps from their children, there will be those who become Muslim. Allah knows this; we do not know the unseen. Therefore, you too sit down for peace with them, He says. Also, so that every person, while completing his life in the material world, holds himself witness to the covenant he gave Allah Almighty, no person may kill any person without cause; that is not possible. Apart from being killed while fighting in war, or when a crime is committed and the crime is proven, being executed by the laws of the state, no one can kill anyone.

For this reason too, Allah commands: grant safety to the one who asks you for safety, grant safety; if they want peace, do not go against them, you too incline toward peace. Uphold right and justice. In every matter, in every way, put your trust in Allah, ask Allah for help. For Allah is the All-Hearing and All-Knowing. Allah Almighty does not leave alone His servants who say "Allah." Yes.
