Tafsir
Allah has united the hearts of the believers who help the Messenger of Allah and the Religion of Islam. In the state of spirits, before people were in the form of bodies, in the state of spirits, in the covenant of Allah (swt) with all the spirits, in the covenant of each spirit with Allah (swt), and in the separation of each spirit according to whether they are evil-doers or righteous, Allah (swt) gives the destiny of these spirits to them as their destiny, As our souls love Allah and surrender to Him in the direction of obedience to Allah, Allah has imprinted on our souls the feelings of loving and helping each other for the sake of Allah and helping the Messenger of Allah and the believers in order to spread the religion of Islam and Allah's justice on earth. Allah has united their hearts against each other, against Allah and Allah's Messenger in His verse (He has united their hearts). It is only for Allah to imprint these feelings in people.
(In this verse, our Lord declares that creation is reserved for Allah, that He has programmed His creatures for their duties, that only Allah knows the fate of people who obey or disobey Allah, that this is within the knowledge of Allah, that no other created being can have knowledge of this knowledge, and that even if He had given all of creation to these people, He would not have been able to unite their hearts in the way that Allah has programmed them.By declaring that even if Allah had given all of creation to these people, He would not have been able to strengthen their hearts in the way that Allah has programmed them, our Prophet (PBUH) declares that He is the Almighty with absolute power and absolute knowledge of His creatures.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Anfal, verse 63. And Allah has united their hearts, it says. (?) Those who help the Prophet, the believers.
Those who helped the Prophet in his time — if they are believers, until the Day of Judgment too there are believers. These believers are those who love one another for Allah's sake. (?) any benefit in return, they love one another for Allah's sake. They have removed from their hearts everything besides Allah, and having filled their hearts with Allah's light, for Allah, they love people in love with Allah with all their heart, they love them. These are a wisdom of Allah for the believers. Yes, He has united their hearts. Had you given all that is on earth, you still could not have united their hearts.
So, however much a person gives a good covenant to Allah Almighty, a good covenant, this covenant of his — if Allah Almighty had not made their hearts, those believers' hearts, remember His Self and had not given those people those feelings, so that they love one another, Allah Almighty would have made a deficiency in His creation. So however much these people, these believers love Allah, Allah Almighty adds one more feeling to them. What is it? That those who love Allah love one another. That they love one another for Allah. In this case, a person can love a thing. Another can love the same thing.
For example, let's say I love this pen. You love this pen too. But you two cannot love each other just because both your hearts love this pen. That is not possible. It is such a feeling: if this believer loves Allah, and the other person opposite him also loves Allah, those who love Allah here love one another. No one but Allah can give such a feeling. For those who love Allah. These are the believers. What does it say? And Allah has united their hearts. Where? In those who love Allah loving one another. Had you given all that is on earth, you still could not have united their hearts. But Allah reconciled them and bonded them together.
That is, in keeping with those feelings, in their loving one another for Allah, He reconciled them and bonded them together. For He is the Absolutely Mighty, the Wise. Those who abandon Allah Almighty can never have this feeling. Non-Muslims, or Muslims who have not risen to mutmainne, however much they love one another, it cannot equal a believer's love for a believer. Yes.
The hearts of the believers who help Allah's Messenger and the religion of Islam Allah has united. As I explained a moment ago, Allah Almighty makes those who love Allah Almighty, who love His Self, love one another. He even says this.
The one who advances on Allah's path I make beloved to My servants, He says. The one who advances on Allah's path I make beloved to My servants. This is the counterpart of the same verse. Those who love one another for Allah, because they love Allah — their bond to one another, and Allah instilling and strengthening that feeling in (?). You cannot do this with anything (?) but Allah's power. Yes. Allah has united the hearts of the believers who help Islam. At (?), when people were still souls, before putting on the garb of the body, when Allah Almighty made a covenant with all souls, each soul covenanting with Allah Almighty, and they were separated by their states as wretched or God-fearing, Allah, who gives these souls' wishes to them as destiny — as our souls, in the direction of obeying Allah, toward one another, love one another, love Allah and submit to Him — Allah, in turn, in our souls, in proportion to their own wishes, loving one another for Allah and helping one another, spreading the religion of Islam and Allah's justice on earth, helping Allah's Messenger and the believers: these feelings He has instilled.
He has instilled these feelings. Therefore, if a believer cannot share a believer's condition, his faith has not reached perfection. Yes. So what is faith, faith? Faith comes from believing. Then what is the essence of believing, its root? Believing in a thing comes from knowing its existence. For example, I see this glass. I believe in it. I say this is a glass. It's impossible, you cannot turn me away from this. It's a glass, after all. Right? This is a glass. So faith, too, is like this: believing while knowing the truth. The truest of truths is the existence of Allah. Knowing Allah is faith.
So faith comes from believing. From believing. And believing is believing in the truth. And the truest of truths is the existence of Allah. Believing in Allah's existence and in Allah's sharia rulings, accepting what He has made known, is faith. The truths. What is the truth? Eşhedü en lâ ilâhe illallah: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah. Ve eşhedü enne Muhammeden abdühû ve resûlüh. Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. This is faith. He believed. The truest of beliefs. The truest; this becomes faith. Yes.
Thus, after believing in this way and reforming his self, the person who attains the quality of believer, after reforming his self. The Muslim also believes, but a Muslim who has not risen to mutmainne is still in doubt. He is in doubts, in suppositions. Whoever says, "I make no suppositions about the hereafter," if he is not a believer, let him (?) explain (?). He is in suppositions and contradictions. But his faith protects him. That is, he has believed and will not give it up. But he is in contradiction. Once he becomes a believer, he starts his prayer, does his fasting, his pilgrimage, fulfills his duties.
He struggles with his self. He turns to piety. After that he enters the gate of wonders, at nefs-i mülhime. Even there, although he sees wonders, he is still in doubt. Despite seeing so many wonders, despite it being ayne'l-yakîn, despite that, among the people who are in those wonders there are some who departed as non-Muslims. Like the friend of Mevlana's father. But once his self rises to mutmainne, there is the manifestation. For someone to whom Allah's Self has been manifested, there is never any turning back. "O soul at peace, with your Lord pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord, enter among My servants, enter Paradise" — that is the soul He says this to.
To such a believer, to people in the state of believer who have reformed their selves, He gives feelings in such a way that with those feelings these believers, for Allah, bond firmly with one another. Only Allah's power and might can do this; no one else can. That is why He says, had you given all beings in the world, you could not have strengthened this. Yes.
What are we saying? Allah has united their hearts. In the verse where He says this, their hearts, toward one another, toward Allah and Allah's Messenger, He has united. Instilling these feelings in people belongs to Allah alone.
In the verse where He says, "Had you given all that is on earth, you still could not have united their hearts," our Lord, that creating belongs to Allah alone, creating. Because He both creates and, by giving them those feelings, makes them love one another. This love: the loves of those who love one another for Allah, toward Allah's command, submitting with their lives. This is their trust in Allah. Yes.
That He programmed His creations according to the duties they would perform; that the destinies of the people who obey Allah and say (?) are known only to Allah, that this is within Allah's knowledge, that no other created being can attain this knowledge; that the most excellent of people, the master of the two worlds, Muhammad (peace be upon him), even if he had given all creations to these people, even if he had given all creations to these people, could not have strengthened their hearts the way Allah programmed — by making this known, He declares that He is the owner of absolute power and of absolute knowledge over His creations, the All-Knowing.
Allah Almighty. What does it say here? Let's read it again. Maybe a word is missing. That it is within Allah's knowledge, that no other created being can attain this knowledge, that the most excellent of people, the master of the two worlds, the Prophet Muhammad, too, even if he had given all creations to these people — there a word has dropped out, that is, a line is missing. Even if Allah Almighty had put all creations at the Prophet's command, even then he could not have done this strengthening. (?) we will (?) that part, inshallah. One. There is a letter missing there. Yes. Allah Almighty makes known that this belongs to Allah alone.
Because creating belongs to Allah.
