Oh Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and the mu’min (believers) who follow you.
Tafsir
Because the Prophet and the believers are devoted to Allah, Allah will grant the Prophet and the believers who are devoted to Him salvation and happiness in this world and the Hereafter. Because Allah has absolute power. If Allah is sufficient for those who are with Allah, then even if mankind and jinn and all creation were to gather together, they would not be able to overcome Allah. In this respect, Allah is sufficient for those who are with Allah.
What is said in the video
In Surah Al-Anfal, verse 64: O Prophet! Allah is sufficient for you and for the believers who follow you, it says. Yes, now people in a restricted way, in a treasure pouch, lock up this verse. They pin it on the Companions. On the Companions. O Prophet, Allah is sufficient for you and the believers who follow you. That is, in the sense that back then those believers followed him and Allah sufficed for them. Until the Day of Judgment this verse is valid. Until the Day of Judgment there are believers. Whoever attains the quality of a believer, Allah is sufficient for him. Look, it says to the believers. It does not say those living in your time; to you and the believers who follow you — who are they? Those of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah who, the Holy Quran the Prophet brought us, the Holy Quran that Allah Almighty sent and had the Prophet entrust to us, follow it, reform their nafs and rise to the nafs al-mutmainnah: for those people Allah is sufficient, it says.
Allah Almighty Himself will receive them, the believers, in the hereafter with a smiling face. He will say: peace be upon them, peace. He will say: today you are safe here. And they, beneath the burning torment of that sun, will take shade in the shade. Like what? Since this world is the likeness and shadow of the hereafter, just as our brothers who go on Hajj at Arafat, in those tents, in the shade find shade. Those who don't go into the tent suffer under the burning heat of that sun, you know. Now take this Arafat as the Gathering, the Gathering; those who go into those tents are those believers who in the world, for Allah's sake, loved one another; they will benefit from that shade there, and their reckoning will be done first, first of all.
The Prophet and the believers, since they are bound to Allah wholeheartedly, Allah too makes the Prophet and the believers who are bound to Him attain, in this world and the hereafter, salvation and happiness, because Allah has absolute power; for those with Allah, if Allah is sufficient, even if people and jinn, all created beings, came together and gathered, they could not overpower Allah. Therefore Allah is sufficient for those who are with Allah.
In many events, these — these events take place before the eyes of the world. Before the eyes of the world. Once upon a time, in the Korean War, there a commander who was encircled — was it Muhsin Yazıcı? It must have been a name like that. Tahsin Yazıcı. Tahsin Yazıcı, yes. With a handful of soldiers he breaks through seven encirclements. A soldier going to the water and filling his canteen — behind him a unit — these things really happened — a unit, let's say a unit, a non-Muslim unit; the boy taking it captive, then that unit lowering its weapons, and the boy taking them captive and to his unit bringing them. They ask: what happened?
He took us captive, they say; the ones behind, they say, took us captive. Who are the ones behind? In the Cyprus operation, before our eyes, events that took place. In history, as Allah Almighty has made known, in the Badr battles. In the Battles of the Trench. These, by Allah's power — for those with Allah, neither their equipment nor their numerical superiority is enough. Therefore Allah Almighty, the absolute power and absolute ruler — according to the verse "Who is more true to His word than Allah?", all the verses, supporting one another — no force or might, according to this verse too, can overpower the one who is with Allah.
Yes.
