Tafsir
This verse reminds us of the state in which Allah (swt) made a covenant with our souls when they were in the state of spirits (in Kalu Bela) before coming to the realm of property. That is to say, when Allah (swt) addressed our spirits in (Kalu Bela) by giving them the intellect, which we call the intellect that knows His Essence, and said, "I am your Lord", it means that people who know Allah (swt) as the Creator, because of their pride and egoism, rebelled against Allah (swt) and denied Allah (swt) and did not recognize Allah (swt). They were traitors before, even though they knew me. They did not recognize me as Lord. So do not grieve that they do not recognize you and that they disbelieve and betray you. I have given you the means and power against those who disbelieve in you. Allah (swt) has given many means to the Prophet (s.a.w.). He supported him with His Essence. He created the whole universe from the light of the Prophet (PBUH). Allah (swt) created the Prophet (pbuh) as the first creation and gave him his soul. He made him the head of all good by giving him kevseri. He says, "Let not the disbelief and treachery of the disbelievers grieve you.
Allah is the Knower, He is the Owner of Wisdom. Because Allah, who made a covenant with each and every human being in the first world, has given them their destiny as their destiny. Although the people living in the realm of property are unaware of their destiny while they are alive and do not know what will happen in the next second, Allah (swt) knows what the people who will come until the Day of Resurrection will do. Therefore He has wisdom.
What is said in the video
We have come to Surah Al-Anfal, verse 71. If they want to betray you. Who are these? The polytheists, unbelievers or captives. Do not grieve, for before that they had betrayed Allah too. They had betrayed Allah too. Allah gave you power and might over them. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. How beautifully He counsels the Prophet (peace be upon him), Allah Almighty. If they belie you, deny you, try to betray you, and their betrayal is that: if they belie you, call you a liar, if they try to show you hostility, do not grieve, it says. In their time they betrayed Me too. Where did they betray? At the address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, in that realm of lahut, when He created the souls and said I am your Lord, there the souls separated into three parts: those on the right, those on the left and the class of those brought near. Those on the left, in what a woeful state they are, it says.
And the group of ve ashâbü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbü'l-meş'emeh. Do not grieve. Those who deny their Lord, who created the worlds, the heavens and the earth, and is the Owner of what is between them, they betrayed Me too in their time, it says. They did not recognize Me. So leave them, it says, let them be occupied with the amusement they are immersed in, it says. Yes.
Allah gave you power and might over them, it says. That is, above the worlds, above people, He made you honored. Both above people and above the worlds. That is, all created beings were created from the light of the Prophet, with people indirectly from his soul. In this case, exclusively for the Prophet, both above people and above the worlds he was created honored. So you were given power, it says, look. Against him He gave you power and gave you might. That is, behind you is my Lord, who created you, who created the worlds, it says. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. Yes.
This verse reminds us of the state when people, before coming to the material realm, at Kalu Bela, as souls, Allah Almighty made a covenant with our souls. Yes.
Namely, at Kalu Bela, giving our souls the intellect we call akl-ı maat, which knows His Essence, when He addressed them saying I am your Lord, of the people who knew Allah Almighty as Creator, those who, out of their pride and ego, through their rebellion against Allah Almighty, deny Allah and do not acknowledge Him, are meant.
Here it is useful to explain this sentence. Namely, at Kalu Bela, giving our souls the intellect we call akl-ı maat, which knows His Essence, with His address. When He said I am your Lord, people who knew Allah Almighty as Creator, we say. People who knew Allah Almighty as Creator. Here we will open up this word.
People who knew Allah Almighty as Creator, out of their pride and ego, their rebellion against Allah Almighty, we say. The parts up to here need explaining. If he had known Allah, he would have obeyed Allah anyway. His nafs, his pride, his arrogance, his grandeur, his ego, and Allah Almighty's resembling man one to one, with the attributes of the Essence. Well, because of their pride and arrogance, their not recognizing the Lord who created them, who created the worlds, as Lord,
their waiting for the Lord in their own world of imagination. He knows he was created, though. He knows he was created by a Lord. In this case, through Allah Almighty's resembling man one to one, one to one. Since He gave of His spirit, people were created as a part of His Essence anyway. In this case Allah Almighty says, We have made people honored above the worlds.
Through this one-to-one resemblance, harboring pride, arrogance, grandeur and a sense of ego, these non-Muslims, because they waited for the Lord of their imagination, turned their backs on Allah who created them and rebelled against Him. They denied Him. This sentence: here we need to know this much. Yes. Giving the intellect we call akl-ı maat, which knows His Essence, addressing them, when He said I am your Lord, of the people who knew Allah Almighty as Creator, those who, out of their pride and ego, through their rebellion against Allah Almighty, deny Allah and do not acknowledge Him, are meant. That is, the non-Muslims.
even before, they, although they knew Me, betrayed; that is, here it means the same: that they had been created by a deity, although they knew it, since they could not see the Lord of their world of imagination, they denied the Lord before them who created the worlds. Now why do we say it this way, and open this up? That is, what did we say?
Even before, although they knew Me, here, to them, Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, when He said I am your Lord, Kalu, they said yes, it says. They said yes. I want to remind you of this point. That is, they knew by themselves that they had been created by a Lord. So, in man knowing his Lord through the intellect by his own will, since He gave partial will (?) to man, Allah Almighty, without any pressure or preference upon them, by the decisions man would make, wrote man's destiny, his wish, for him as destiny. In this case, Allah Almighty, the intellect you call akl-ı muhat, people there, since they knew they had been created, said yes.
If they had said no, then that Allah Almighty could not give those people, to know they were created by a Lord, the intellect consciously in the full sense, would have come to light. They said yes. Yes, that is, we were created. We were created, but we don't recognize You. so they said yes; why don't we recognize You? because You resemble us, You cannot be our Lord. Is that so? Then I will send you to a realm where My Essence is not seen, that is, the realm of this world, esfel-i safilin, the lowest of the low, a land, that is, the world; He wrote everyone's desire and wish, their aim, for them as destiny, to that degree (?); now in this world, in a realm where His Essence is not seen, He made His Essence known.
We hold no one, it says, responsible for things in which We have not made Our Essence known. That is, We hold people responsible for nothing about which We have not made the verses known. So today even people at the poles know that Islam exists, and everyone had his own destiny written by his own desires and wishes and is living that destiny. So, in an unseen realm, everyone has now come here to be held witness to Allah, to himself and to those around him. In this case Allah Almighty makes people witnesses over themselves, and when their lives are over, in the hereafter people will have no words left to say to Allah Almighty, and Allah's, Allah's attribute will become manifest.
People, those wronged by their own deeds, will take revenge on their own nafs. And those who obey Allah will continue their lives in the gardens Allah Almighty promised with His mercy, in the most beautiful way. Yes. So, of the people who knew Allah Almighty as Creator, those who, out of their pride and ego, through their rebellion against Allah Almighty, deny Allah and do not acknowledge Him, are meant. Before, too, although they knew Me, that is, although they knew they were created by an Allah, by a deity, they committed betrayal. That is, they did not recognize Me. They did not recognize Me as Lord.
Therefore, do not grieve that they do not recognize you and betray you by denying you, it says. Do not grieve. I gave you power and might against those who deny you. Did He not? Did He not help with angels to spread the religion of Islam? In the battles of Badr, did He not cut off the unbelievers' vanguard and open the way for Islam? In the Battle of the Trench, did He not scatter that army of elephants? Yes.
I gave you power and might against those who deny you. Allah Almighty gave the Prophet (peace be upon him) many means. He supported him with His Essence. He created the whole universe from the light of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Allah Almighty, creating the Prophet (peace be upon him) as the first created being, gave the Prophet (peace be upon him) of His spirit. Giving him Kawthar, Kawthar, He made him the head of all good things. We have given you Kawthar, it says. They narrow this down. He gave him a river in Paradise. A river. Whereas He gives that river to servants as well. A river of honey, a river of milk, a river of wine.
Look, not the wine we know. A wine that, when drunk, gives pleasure and does not intoxicate. Yes. These come from the same root and split into 3. Into 3. The source is the same source. But it splits into 3. One honey, one wine, and one a river of milk.
In man too, from the same (?) source a water comes out. From the eye, salty. From the ear sweet, from the nose as something sour it comes out, separate flows. This world is the likeness, that is, the likeness of the hereafter; this world is the likeness and shadow of the hereafter, this world. Whatever is here is there too. And let's go on: if you ask how they come from the same source and become a river of wine, a river of milk, a river of honey, how does the water from the same (?) seep from the eye, from the nose smelly, and from the ear come sweet? Yes. This Creator creates with (?).
Let not the unbelievers' denial and treachery grieve you, Allah Almighty commands. Yes.
Allah Almighty is All-Knowing, He is All-Wise. For Allah, who made a covenant with every person in (?), has given people their wishes to them as destiny.
Although people who come to the material realm and live are, while alive, unaware of their own destiny and cannot know what they will be a second later, Allah Almighty knows what the people to come until the Day of Judgment will do. Therefore He is also All-Wise. What is meant by wisdom, well, for what purpose a being was created, what it will do, and which duty it will fulfill, Allah Almighty knows. That is its wisdom. For example, in one sense of wisdom, if you have no knowledge of the future, you know: since these worlds were created within a program, some things that seem bad to you, some events, are good. And events that seem good are evil.
You cannot know this. This is within Allah's wisdom. That is what we call wisdom. For example, like Khidr (peace be upon him) making a hole in the boat. What does Moses say? You have done a grave thing, he says. You made a hole in the boat of an innocent person, he says. Whereas ahead there was a king who seized every sound boat. To spare those poor people's boat from him, Allah Almighty had that boat holed, made it faulty, and saved it from that king. So what kinds of wisdom these are.
And then, the wisdoms of the scholars, what are they? The meanings of the verses: Allah Almighty, the wisdom of what the subtleties in them mean, makes known to their hearts by inspiration. By inspiration, mind you. With wisdom, with inspiration. For most people do not know inspiration, it says. Yes.
