Translation

Those who believe and migrate, struggle on the path of Allah with their possessions and with their lives, who provide shelter and help, some of them are friends of others. Those who believe but do not migrate, until they migrate, there is no share for you from their heritage. If they ask you for help in matters of religion, unless it is against an arrangement that you made with a nation, it is an obligation upon you to help (those Muslims). Allah sees what you are doing.

Tafsir

Those who believe and are persecuted in their places of residence, those who emigrate in order not to abandon the religion of Islam, those who leave their wealth and property in the way of Allah for the sake of Allah, or those who wage jihad with their wealth and lives, those who shelter and help them, such people are believers. They are each other's friends. This friendship is not based on worldly gain, it is the friendship of those who love Allah and love each other for Allah's sake. These people know that the world is a fleeting and transitory place of little stay. The true bliss is for those who fulfill Allah's commands and know that His endless and inexhaustible blessings are in the Hereafter. Therefore, these people act in accordance with Allah's commands and keep their affairs in submission to Allah (swt). Therefore, such people strive to spread the justice of Allah on earth. People who are equipped with these qualities become each other's friends.

As for those who believe but do not emigrate, these are people who, although they have believed, cannot leave the comforts of where they are because worldly wealth and possessions outweigh them, and they cannot afford to continue their worship among the believers. In other words, the faith of such people is weak. Therefore, until they emigrate, the emigrants cannot share in their inheritance, even if they are their relatives. The emigrants cannot inherit the property of the people who did not emigrate, because they are among a people who are hostile to them, and these people will not give their property to Muslims, so that there will be no friction between them.

If people who have not believed and emigrated, and who are among their enemies, ask for help in religion from Muslims who have emigrated or from other Muslim states, it is an obligation on those people to help the Muslims who ask for help, without prejudice to a people with whom they have a treaty.

Allah is All-Seeing of what people will do. Because Allah is the One who knows what people will be able to do until the Day of Resurrection and gives them their destiny as their destiny. In this respect, He is the One who knows what people are capable of doing and what they will do. Allah, who knows the movement and movement of a cell or the will of a cell anywhere in the universe, is the All-Seeing One.

As for the seventy-fifth verse, some commentators say that it has been abrogated. As we have said from the beginning, no verse in the Holy Qur'an has been abrogated or changed. It is useful to say it once again here. If the provisions of the Verses had been abrogated or changed, Allah (swt) would have spoken in vain. Since the subtleties of the verses are not understood, people interpret them according to their minds and attribute shortcomings to Allah (swt) knowingly or unknowingly. This is as described in this verse. We will try to explain the seventy-fifth verse to you.

What is said in the video

Coming to our lesson. Those who believed and emigrated, who strove in the way of Allah with their property and their lives, and those who sheltered and helped, those, some of them are friends of the others, it says. The verse continues; let me open it up for you up to here. Those who believed and emigrated, in a state, within a state's laws, when they cannot live their religion, those who emigrate, exactly as the Muhajirun emigrated from Mecca the Honored to Medina the Illuminated, to the Ansar, and they opened their arms to them and, as brothers, embraced each other and shared their property, likewise they attain the same reward. On earth, within the borders of a state, within the borders of a state; the border, take this pen as the border; on the left of the border he cannot perform his worship, he leaves his property and emigrates; where to? A span to the other side of the border; exactly the reward of the Muhajirun who emigrated from Mecca the Honored to Medina the Illuminated he receives, their reward.

Exactly.

Yes. They emigrated for Allah. These too emigrated for Allah.

In this case, some of them, it says, are friends of the others. Yes. They are friends of one another. Just as when they emigrated from Mecca the Honored to Medina the Illuminated, those there opened their arms to them. if oppression arises in a (?) and a Muslim emigrates from there, which Muslim would not open his arms to him, which Muslim would not share his bread with him? So Allah Almighty too: the earth is wide, perhaps, it says; more than you could find in your own homeland Allah will give you abundantly, it says; if you emigrate for Allah, will Allah leave you alone? Yes. I'm reminded of someone else who, for his faith, emigrated. Old, very rich, living in Mecca, in the time of the Prophet. I forgot his name. The name isn't really in my mind, I know him.

Anyway, they torment one of them. He says, I'm old. (?), he says. All of my property I will donate to you, let me go, he says.

And when he came to Medina the Illuminated, they embrace him there. May your trade be blessed, they say.

Yes.

You know, those people, you know, our (?) fathers, our mothers, all of them entered this guest world by one door and left by the other. As they went through this world, what they did was recorded on camera like a video. I say, O man, you too are in front of a camera. Look, just as the camera here is filming me. Put your life in order. Do not covet the blossoming zaqqum tree of this swamp of a world. That zaqqum tree that grows in the middle of Hell. If you fix your eyes on the world, get carried away by fleeting worldly desire, and forget Allah, tomorrow when you are called to account before Allah, you will have no word to say to Him.

So use this treasure of life well. It won't come into your hands again.

Yes. Some of them are friends of the others. As for those who believed but did not emigrate, it says. As for them. Until they emigrate, you have no share of their inheritance, it says. Yes, they did not emigrate. If of his inheritance there is no share, then between the feelings of brotherhood there is also a veil, it means. It does not cast him out of brotherhood completely. But it draws a veil. because he did not emigrate. Because he preferred that place. That is, because he inclined a bit more to the world, the breadth of the earth Allah granted him; deceived by the worldly blessings there, he compromised his worship and did not give up his property. Then there is a veil between him and you.

His property is forbidden to you.

You have no share of his inheritance, it says. If they ask you for help in matters of religion; in matters of religion, he neither leaves Islam nor (?) his property. Since he suffers oppression there too: O my Muslim brother, brother Ahmet, look, you emigrated. Where did you go? You went to city A. Come and help me here; when he says that, brother Ahmet will say to him this:

With the town you live in, with its ruler's law, I have an agreement. Under this agreement I cannot break this agreement and help you. if there's no agreement, if we have no agreement in that town, Ahmet says to me: from town A, I'm in town B too, he'll help me; or he says to me: with the town you're in, he says, I'll enter into an agreement, to get you out of there or to help you or to protect your rights, I'll enter into an agreement there; if they don't accept these, then I'll help you. Then I'll help. Again, because he is a Muslim, a believer, because of that faith he will help him. Let's see, is the verse like that now?

What does the verse say?

If they ask you for help in matters of religion, then, without it being against a people with whom you have a treaty, without, helping those Muslims is a duty upon you. So if there is a treaty, you cannot help. If there is no treaty; without, it says anyway. Without a treaty, helping those Muslims is a duty upon you.

Like what?

Like when they asked the Ottomans for help, from Romania, from Bosnia. The Ottomans would go and spread right and justice there. Right and justice; they did not oppress.

Yes. In our religion there is no wronging anyone.

Our religion, our Lord commands so. Take a father.

Would he want those people among his children to wrong one another? A father? Impossible.

And Allah Almighty, if He sent one percent of His mercy to the earth, His creatures, even if non-Muslim, polytheist, idolater, religious or irreligious, on earth you would not want anyone to wrong anyone. That is why Fatih too, when he took Istanbul, made one neighborhood Christian, one neighborhood Muslim. One neighborhood Christian, one neighborhood Muslim. He made one island Christian, one island Muslim. Yes. Thus Allah Almighty's verse he confirmed. What is the verse? Leküm dînüküm ve liye dîn. Your religion is yours, my religion is mine. No person can change any person's destiny. Even he himself has no authority or power to change his own destiny.

(?) does not suffice either. Because at the address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, according to people's (?) and wishes, people's aims were written for them as destiny. Allah Almighty: unless We will, you cannot will, it says. According to this verse, since Allah Almighty's willing too will no longer happen again, for if Allah Almighty willed, He would remove Hell altogether. But, it says, I can change people's destinies, it says. And unless We will, you cannot will. I can change it. Because when you asked Me for your covenant, your wish, I gave you that wish of yours as destiny, as characters, it says. Only I can change this.

Because the one who masters the art of creation is Allah Almighty. In this case, a word has also been given by Us. Paradise and Hell, it says. Look. He says it beautifully. Paradise and Hell. So what was written is written. The events that happen were programmed. In this case, since people cannot change even their own destinies themselves, oppressing a person, trying to turn him from his religion shows those people's ignorance, shows that those people know nothing of religion, shows those people are unaware of Allah, and shows that those people are irreligious; irreligious, yes; today the non-Muslim who has no religion, trying to spread around his false religion as if it were a religion, for money or by force or by deceiving, tries to spread his religion.

Poor people who, each time they spread it, increase their own kufr and take revenge on their own nafs, without realizing it. Who are these? They are irreligious. They have no religion.

According to the verse Inne'd-dîne inda'llâhi'l-İslâm, the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel are in the Holy Quran. Whoever says, I will abide by the Gospel, I will abide by the Torah, or by the Psalms I will abide, and says this too is Allah's book, will Allah say to you: abide by three verses, the other by five verses, the other by ten verses, and the other by six thousand six hundred verses? Will He commit injustice? according to people's minds, according to people's social lives, their ways of living, Allah Almighty, who does not load onto anyone a burden they cannot bear, made known to them step by step the commands they were to carry out; then the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) too; the religion of Islam, together with all the books, as four books, He sent the Holy Quran, and to all people: O people, I, as a mercy to the worlds, the Quran to the worlds, it says, that will give life, that will shed light, it says, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), I sent as messenger.

Whoever does not believe this messenger, whoever denies a single one of My verses, let him, it says, prepare his place in Hell. Let him prepare his place in Hell. He leaves the religion, becomes an unbeliever. and for the unbelievers fire has been prepared, fire; Allah Almighty doesn't say let him prepare his place in Hell, but what does He say? Whoever deliberately denies a verse is in eternal Hell, in the fire, it says; if I say let him prepare his place in Hell, would I be contradicting this verse? Must Allah Almighty say it exactly as I say? Poor people insist: is it exactly like that in the verse?

Yes.

These are people looking for a calf under the ox.

Yes.

Allah sees fully what you do, it says.

Those who, having believed, were persecuted where they were, being told to leave the religion of Islam, those who emigrated, those who left their property for Allah, in the way of Allah, or who, with their property and lives, strove. These, those who sheltered and helped them. Such people are mu'mins. Mu'min. Whom did we call mu'min? Who has passed beyond nafs-i emmare, nafs-i levvame, nafs-i mülhime, and to nafs-i mutmainne has risen. O soul at peace! Your Lord pleased with you, and you with your Lord. Enter among My servants, well pleased. The people to whom He says: Enter My Paradise. That is, people who have attained the manifestations; you know those who say, is there such a thing as manifestation, those who don't listen to us, of course those who haven't listened until now, cannot fit it into their short minds.

(?), he says. With the manifestation to Moses too, the mountain moved from its place.

There is the word of Allah Almighty. Who is truer to his word than Allah? If Allah Almighty sent us to an unseen realm, His Essence cannot possibly be seen. It is not possible to see with the eyes. An unseen realm. For Allah Almighty says in His verse, who is truer to his word than Allah.

But Hodja, He appeared to Moses on Mount Tur, didn't He? Not with the attributes of His Essence. He was seen in the form of a fire. Not with the attribute of His Essence. With the attribute of His Essence, in His true form: having left the world, gone to the farthest corner of the universe, of the Throne, where time and space end, opposite the place where time and space end, with Allah Almighty in person the Prophet met.

Yes. And manifestation is to people's hearts.

If you take out the (?) in that heart, if you put Allah's light there, that light's manifestation to that light. Allahu nûru's-semâvâti ve'l-ard, meselü nûrihî ke-mişkâtin fîhâ misbâh, el-misbâhu fî zücâceh. Sadakallah. According to the verse.

If you take the (?) out of that heart, Allah puts His light there, and that light, it says, is (?) from olive oil.

In such a way that it almost lights up even if no fire touches it, it says. It gives light around it. Neither the shadow of the east nor of the west falls on it. The sun rises in the east, you know; they likened the east to outward knowledge. And outward knowledge casts a shadow on it. And the sun sets in the west, you know: falsehood. Nor, it says, can falsehood cast a shadow on that truth. Yes. Yes.

So the people who have attained the manifestations are the believing men and believing women. Allah Almighty, by addressing the believing men and women (?), gives life to the Muslim, does not put him out of the religion of Islam, and makes known that they are in kufr. With which verse, Hodja?

Let's read. Let's see. In which verse?

Yes.

Of Surah An-Nur, verse 31: pay attention: tell the believing women to guard their eyes from looking at the forbidden. What does it say? Verse 31: ve kul li'l-mü'minât, tell the believing women, it says. Well, why doesn't it say yâ eyyühe'n- nâs? Tell the people. Or why doesn't it say yâ eyyühe'llezîne âmenû? Why doesn't it say it? It begins with ve kul li'l-mü'minât. Let them guard their eyes from the forbidden. Allah Almighty knows those who will become Muslim and yet uncover their heads. Since He knows that they too, because they are Muslim, become sinners but will not leave Islam, His saying it to the believing women: the believing women who have attained the manifestations, the believing men and women, those friends of Allah from whom there is no turning back, because He knows they will not uncover their heads, He says it to them.

He says it to them, and those who uncover their hair, uncover their heads, become sinners. Because they do not leave Islam. If He had said yâ eyyühe'llezîne âmenû, O you who believe, if He had said cover your heads, and they had not covered them, they would have become unbelievers. Unbelievers. Yes. Now that poor person says: there is no head covering, he says. In the Quran, he says, in verse 31 it goes like this, he says. Even if Allah Almighty tells you in one verse, in one verse, that's enough. If your mind does not reach understanding the verses, don't step forward claiming your mind grasps Allah's verse and talk.

One poor soul had written here. Where? He sends it to Ömer. One poor soul, he writes there. Look, what does it say now? Let them guard their eyes from the forbidden, protect their honor and chastity, their chastity, their honor. Except for the parts that are visible, let them not display their adornments. Which are the visible parts? In our religion, which are the visible parts? From the line of the eyebrows to the line of the chin. From these wrist bones to the shin bones. is covered; anything besides this is adornment; what is adornment in a woman? An ornament, an attraction. Allah: that ornament, that attraction, if He protects your honor with it, is Allah doing you harm?

Huh? What's my honor to you? I live as I please, she goes about as she pleases; I with theirs, they with mine, we sleep around, that's life; if you say that: leküm dînüküm ve liye dîn, yours to you, mine to me. I take my place in Allah's ranks, and you take your place in the ranks of ve ashâbü'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbü'l-meş'emeh, those on the left; then ve ashâbü'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbü'l-meymeneh, those on the right He speaks of, it says, those on the right: good tidings to them, they are in dark green gardens, it says.

Whose the end of this world will be, you will soon see. In this case, if you prefer your few hours of life to the hereafter and spend your life here like animals, they are like the four-legged ones roaming the earth, it says. Even more astray in their course. Tomorrow, at (?) the Judgment, you will give your account. What's it to you, Hodja? Is my life left to you? It's not left to you. I am carrying out my Lord's command. What does Allah Almighty say? Enjoin the good. I am enjoining the good. I explain Allah's verse to those who long for Allah, who love Allah, to His servants. If you too love Allah, if you want to take your place in Allah's ranks, you will listen.

If not, if you want to live your own life, bars, nightclubs, (?) are open, you can live as you wish.

In the end, in the end you will enter such a road that from the pickpockets, the robbers, those (?) killers, you cannot escape.

That is, within this world's life, at the moment of death, when those angels take the souls, striking your face and back again and again, if, even more, against your nafs you are unjust, when you suffer the punishment of the grave, in the end, when you face the real torment, then regret is of no use. In this world, the time to come seems to people long. Long, the future is long. It deceives a person. Look at the past. Like a second. In the morning we get up for the fast. How will the evening come? When the evening comes, when we come to the meal, that whole day passed like a second, like a minute, gone.

That was life. So don't be deceived. By the state of this life, this course of things, don't be deceived. Yes. Yes, these are each other's friends, those people. This friendship, not based on worldly interests, is the friendship of those who love Allah from the heart and for Allah love one another. These people know that the world is a perishable, temporary, brief stopping place. True happiness: by carrying out Allah's commands, that His endless, inexhaustible blessings are in the hereafter, they know with certainty. Therefore these people, acting by Allah's commands, surrendering to Allah Almighty, conduct their affairs.

Therefore such people try to spread Allah's justice on earth. And people equipped with these qualities become each other's friends. Yes.
