A warning from Allah and Allah’s Messenger to the idolaters with whom you have agreements.
Tafsir
In Kalubala, all the souls are in three groups. Verse seven of Surah Al-Taqi'a (wa kuntum ezwajan selase) all human beings are in three companies. The people of each division are close to each other in meaning and character. The eighth verse of Surah Al-Qa'ia says, "Blessed are those on the right" (fa ashabu'l-maymenati ma ashabu'l-maymeneh), and the people gathered in this verse are close to each other in meaning and character, and the people on the left are in a pitiable state (wa ashabu'l-mash'emati ma ashabu'l-mash'emeh). Those who disbelieve in Allah, His Messenger and the Books. And the third group (wa's-sabiku ne's-sabikun) are those who are in the forefront of good deeds: the Prophets, the saints, the martyrs and the shuhada. Such people are divided into three camps with mindsets that fit them in terms of meaning.
Since Allah (swt) knows the character of people, and since there will be no more Prophets and Books, Allah (swt) declares the character of the disbelievers. O polytheists! A warning from Allah and His Messenger to the polytheists with whom you have made a covenant! That is, if you use your reason, return to the truth, embrace the light of Islam and obey Allah and His Messenger, you will be saved. Otherwise a painful torment awaits you.
What is said in the video
We left off at verse 1, yes. Surah At-Tawbah, verse 1: From Allah and His Messenger to the polytheists with whom you made a treaty, a warning. A warning. From Allah and His Messenger to the polytheists with whom you made a treaty, a warning. What is this warning? Cutting off all trade with them completely. If you have a treaty with them, the treaty is to be honoured until its end. Yes. For Allah loves those who act justly.
At Qalu Bala, all souls are in three groups. Three groups. When Allah Almighty, in that address "Elestü bi-Rabbiküm", addressed them saying "I am your Lord", there the souls became three groups. That is in Surah Al-Waqi'ah, the seventh verse: "ve ashâbu'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbu'l- meymeneh" — O people of the right, it says. Glad tidings to you. "Ve ashâbu'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbu'l-meş'emeh." O people of the left, woe to you. "Ve's-sâbikûne's-sâbikûn, ülâike'l-mukarrabûn, fî cennâti'n-na'îm" — and a third group: the group of the foremost. These are the saints, the prophets, the martyrs, (?) all together.
There we were divided into three groups. So who are the polytheists? Among those set apart on the left, in such a way that they would not recognize Allah and His Messenger at all, the people who gave their pledge to Allah Almighty.
The people of each group are close to one another in meaning and character. Of each group. For example, those on the right are close to one another in meaning. (?) even if their ideas are not alike, because they are not robots. Everyone has behaviour within their own will. In this respect. But in many ways they agree with one another. What? They believe in one single Allah. La ilahe illallah. That there is no god other than Him, that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, that they believe in all the prophets, that they fully believe in the Quran, that they are bound by (?) ruling — even if they slip now and then, those are their own sins or rewards, whatever they are.
See, they have many points of similarity. As for those on the left, they too are within their own mindset. They call Jesus the son of Allah. They call Mary His wife. Allah protect us. They compete in drinking, gambling, wine; they compete in fornication. Within the same (?) there is not a single Muslim either. Agreeing is not possible. The polytheists are worse, idol-worshippers. Then again, those who are People of the Book cannot get along with the polytheists either. Because they do not worship idols. That is, each group, within its own nature, has points on which they agree with one another.
Yes.
What did we say? The people of each group, in meaning and character, are close to one another. Again, Surah Al-Waqi'ah, verse 8: "Fe ashâbu'l-meymeneti mâ ashâbu'l-meymeneh" — those on the right; in the verse where it says "how blessed are those on the right", the people gathered, in meaning and character, are in a state of harmony with one another. "Ve ashâbu'l-meş'emeti mâ ashâbu'l-meş'emeh" — those on the left, how pitiful is their state. These are those who deny Allah's Messenger and the scriptures. As for the third group, of whom it says "ve's-sâbikûne's-sâbikûn", those foremost in good. They are the class of prophets, saints, martyrs, (?).
So such people, with mindsets that suit one another in meaning, are divided into three sections. Since Allah Almighty knows what characters people have, and since no more prophet or scripture will come, Allah makes known the states and characters of the disbelievers. O polytheists! From Allah and His Messenger to the polytheists with whom you made a treaty, a warning. That is, if you use your reason and return to the truth, if you are honoured with the light of Islam, if you obey Allah and His Messenger, you will be saved. Otherwise a painful punishment awaits you. To the warning. Yes.
Allah Almighty, the Owner of the worlds, whatever He has created, from the atom to the globe, whatever He has created, knowing in all their atoms those nuclei's movements in their (?) — Allah Almighty, who has His Self remembered — says: there is not a single living being to come until the Day of Judgment of whom We would not know what it will do. So Allah Almighty informs Islam of the condition of these non-Muslims. And to the non-Muslims: if you — look — these places, the earth and the heavens and what is created between them, do not recognize Him and turn your back on Him, if you are ungrateful for the blessings Allah has given you, fed you and given you to drink, and in that way pass on to the hereafter, My mercy will be lifted from you; there, no one — you will be left alone; facing the claims made against you, because you did not recognize your Lord who created you, you will have claimed for yourselves hell's flaming fire, He says.
So Allah Almighty gives warnings to people. Allah's word is not a word to be taken lightly.
Because He values people very much, He speaks with people through His verses. So every person, through his own deeds, through actions suited to his own disposition, proves himself to Allah. So when he comes into the presence of Allah Almighty, into the presence of Allah Almighty, Allah Almighty says: O My servant, while you were in the world, in that long time, that is, within your lifetime, because you took Me lightly despite the warnings I gave you, today, He says, your place is here.
Where? The one He calls "what an evil destination", "what an evil bed": hell. Allah protect us. May Allah set all people right, those non-Muslims too, and may He not destine the ummah of Muhammad to enter hell. To enter hell. And as for the Muslims who will enter hell, the Prophet already says: until not a single one of my ummah remains, I will ask Allah Almighty for it, I say, for his ummah. Yes.
